To work with the Head of Marketing and Audiences to deliver the audience strategy for Factory International. To deliver audiences that reflect the diversity of Manchester with a focus on equity and those that are currently underserved in our sector. Develop strategies and tactics for target audience segments, working across the team to deliver a coordinated approach across the segments that maximises income and attendance.
The key responsibilities for the Marketing & Audience Manager role include;
To take responsibility in planning, coordinating and managing the campaign plans for events, to effectively meet our audience targets
To brief and manage media and creative agencies, and an internal design team, to create compelling campaign messaging and visuals to attract our target audiences and segments
To work closely with the Digital Content Team and Producers to develop and deliver rich engaging digital content that are audience and channel focuses to accompany marketing campaigns that are specific to our audiences
Develop partnerships that will maximise our brand and audience ambitions
To work collaboratively across the marketing team, including setting objectives, income targets and priorities, workload allocation
To work alongside our Public Engagement team to deliver a creative and coordinated approach to audience development and targeting audiences that are currently underserved in our sector
To monitor audience booking data, ticket sales, free tickets and access tickets to ensure that our tickets are reaching the people we most want to reach
Connect and outreach to groups and communities making connections and contacts that we can maintain and communicate the breadth of our programme, building audiences and following for the work that we do
Work with our Neighbourhood Organisers to gain audience feedback, consulting them on message, tactic and design to continually refine and improve our marketing campaigns
To help maintain and develop the Factory International brand and house style across all marketing channels both on and offline, and ensure that all standard information is accurate and up-to-date
The person specifications for the Marketing & Audience Manager role are;
Proven experience of working in marketing and delivering audience development campaigns
Experience managing a budget and monitoring income/audience targets
Demonstrable experience managing a multi-channel marketing campaign from strategy to delivery to reporting
Knowledge and experience of reviewing analytics and customer and audience surveys to determine strategy development
Experience of analysing data and compiling reports
Excellent communication and networking skills
Experience managing relationships with different stakeholder, external agencies and suppliers
Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation with a proven ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds
Experience of working with Box Office systems
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
A strong collaborator and team player
Knowledge of and enthusiasm for a range of arts and culture
Experience of working with sponsorship departments
Enthusiasm for training, mentoring and support of emerging talent
